Performing on KnitX for Irmandy Wicaksono’s submission to the Lexus Design Award 2021 competition

I was fortunate that Irmandy Wicaksono invited me to collaborate with him. I wrote a piece “Fabric of Time and Space” and performed it on KnitX (a knitted keyboard, designed and built by Irmandy). The video was filmed in the MIT Media Lab by Jimmy Day and the music was produced by David Cervantes Tobon.

During the pandemic, I recorded some tracks (Valerie; Keep On; Night Sprite) for the Trans-Atlantic Trio (with Eric Stewart and Shravan Nageswaran; coached by Keala Kaumeheiwa) that are exhibited in a virtual concert with other MIT Jazz Combos and the MIT Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Creative Challenge November 2020

On the 10-year anniversary month of my solo concert in 2010 (cf. bottom of this page), I decided to challenge myself to write and publish (unfinished) music everyday for 30 days.
